Cancellation

Cancelling your class

Your class will only be cancelled in several situation.

  • Weather

    During times of severe weather (i.e. rainstorms and typhoons) classes may be cancelled. In the interest of students' safety, FLOAT reserves the right to cancel classes when a venue is deemed dangerous due to inclement weather. No refund, credit or make-ups will be provided.

  • Sick-leave

  • Unforeseen circumstances

    In the event of pool closure due to unforeseen circumstances, classes will be cancelled and make-ups will be scheduled where possible. In such cases, no refunds or credits will be issued.


Withdrawal and Absences from Class

  • Withdrawal and Absences from Class

  1. All fees are non-refundable once the course has commenced.

  2. Withdrawal 21 days prior to the commencement of the course, will receive a full refund.

  3. No refund or make up lesson will be arranged for students missing a lesson for any reason.


Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

  • All students must be under adult supervision while waiting for classes to commence. Parents and guardians who wait on site are required to remain at the venue of the activity.

  • All classes will finish on time. Please ensure your child is picked up promptly after the class. 


Safety

  1. Harry Wright International is not responsible for any injury to participants or damages or loss of property as a result of participation in our courses.

  2. In case of a medical emergency, your child will be transferred to the nearest government hospital using the Hong Kong Government Emergency Medical Unit.


Information Policy

  1. FLOAT may take photos and videos of swimmers from time to time for marketing and teacher education purposes. These photos will not be passed onto third parties.

  2. Information provided will be used for the purposes of (a) processing your application for admission and (b) administration after admission.

  3. The data collected by FLOAT will be kept confidential. You have the right to obtain access to and request correction of any information concerning you and your child held by FLOAT.

  4. Requests for such access should be made in writing. FLOAT reserves the right to amend their policies from time to time.
